Building the narrative of I Saw It From Another Angle means bringing new life to scenes we’ve all watched countless times, etched into the memory of football fans. Commissioned by UEFA, I was asked to recreate one of the Champions League’s most iconic goals: Cristiano Ronaldo’s bicycle kick. A goal photographed from every possible angle, replayed endlessly… yet one perspective was still missing—mine.

I focused on that exact moment when Ronaldo meets the ball in mid-air, while the defenders stand frozen, unwilling witnesses to what would become his greatest goal. That impossible angle, that different way of seeing it, is where a new narrative is born.
